1. Cleaning and service
We ensure the utmost care when providing a service to your SNOO bassinet, car restraint and pram. We however cannot take responsibility for the functionality of your product, damaged or defected materials and hardware that are present prior to our service. All products will be inspected prior to commencement of our service. If we believe we cannot provide a service that we will be happy with or that you will be satisfied with, we will refuse service. Any service or clean will void the original Happiest Baby 12 months warrant.
2. SNOO Hire
The hirer agrees to the below outlined terms and conditions of hire from Snoo Daddy:
- A refundable $300 bond is a requirement for all SNOO rentals. This bond will be returned at the end of hire period once items have been inspected and they are returned in the same condition when hired. The full bond will be kept if the SNOO is damaged, malfunctioning, lost or stolen.
- In the circumstance the SNOO is not returned your credit card will be charged for the amount of $1000 for the cost of the item.
- If the SNOO and SNOO equipment is not returned in a clean condition as when received, including soling of the SNOO mesh with vomit, dirt, pen/marker, make up or in any other way, a $100 cleaning fee will be deducted from your bond.
- Any tears or rips in the mesh will incur the full $300 bond fee.
- Any swaddles or sheets that are not returned will incur a charge of $30 each which will be deducted from the bond. The hirer hereby authorises such charge(s) by continuing with the booking.
- Snoo Daddy will perform a check of all equipment at the beginning of the hire period and at the time of pick up/delivery. Snoo Daddy will also provide set up and instructions on how to pair/ unpair and setup the SNOO. The SNOO is to be unpaired from the hirer at the end of the hire period prior to bond being returned.
- In the event the hirer wishes to return the SNOO earlier than the original end of hire period, a $50 administration fee will be charged.
- All property of Snoo daddy is to be returned on the agreed date or fees of $15 per day will be incurred, unless the hire period is officially extended.
- If the hirer would like to extend their hire period, please contact us as soon as you have decided to do so as the items may already be allocated to another party.
- If the SNOO malfunctions or is damaged it is the hirers responsibility to inform Snoo Daddy as soon as possible.
- The hirer acknowledges that Snoo Daddy does not manufacture the SNOO Smart Sleeper nor any of its equipment and that the hirer has made the selection of hiring the SNOO and it’s associated equipment based on their own judgment.
- The hirer acknowledges, agrees, and assumes full responsibility of the use of the product being hired.
- The hirer agrees to use the product as per recommendations by the manufacturer ‘Happiest Baby’ and abides by all manufacturer warnings, instructions and guidelines relating to the equipment and the use of the equipment, including but not limited to any and all manufacturer safety recommendations.
- Once the SNOO and its associated equipment is in use by the hirer, they acknowledge it is their responsibility to keep their baby safe.
- Snoo Daddy may terminate this agreement and recover possession of the equipment hired at any time. The hirer agrees to this.
- The hirer agrees that Snoo Daddy shall not be liable for any damage caused to any person or property from the rented equipment and/or the use thereof.
- The hirer agrees to provide photo ID and credit card details including current address to proceed with the booking.
- The hirer agrees to pay the $300 bond to secure SNOO hire booking. The two week minimum hire fee of $70 is due prior to collection. The total remainder amount for the hire period is due at the time of the SNOOs return.
- Snoo delivery and collection fees vary depending on location (refer to our website for all travel fees) and are non-refundable.
- The weekly hire rate may change, the hirers weekly rate is to remain fixed, as agreed upon at the time of the signing of this contract.
- Missing/damaged or destroyed SNOO accessories on return will result in a deduction from the given bond according to the value of the missing item.
- By continuing with this booking, the hirer agrees with all terms and conditions described in this agreement.
3. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law the owner disclaims all liability for any incidents that may occur.
4. Indemnity
To the full extent permitted by law the hirer releases, discharges and indemnifies the owner from all claims and demands on the owner arising out of or consequent or misuse of the equipment during the hire period.
5. Insurance
The owner will maintain current insurance policies in respect of the equipment to its full insurable value.
6. Title to goods
The hirer acknowledges that the owner retains title to the equipment and that the hirer has rights to use the equipment as lessee only. The hirer agrees not to agree, offer or purport to sell, assign, sub-let, lend, pledge, let or hire or otherwise part with or attempt to part with personal possession.
7. Repossession
The owner may retake possession of the equipment if the hirer breaches any provision of this agreement, notwithstanding anything else herein contained.
If repossession takes place, the owner shall only charge the hire fee up to and including the time of repossession.
8. Completion of hire period
The hire period is completed when the equipment has been returned to the owner:
in the same condition as when it was hired; and on or by the date and time outlined in the schedule.
9. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria. Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts exercising jurisdiction there in connection with matters concerning this Agreement.
10. Payment
All card transactions will incur a 1.9% fee.
