How to Use the Repair Kit
Using the repair kit to restore your SNOO Smart Sleeper is straightforward and requires only a few essential tools. Follow these simple steps to ensure a smooth installation:
- Prepare Your Workspace: Set up a clean, well-lit area to organise the kit’s parts. Having a stable, clutter-free surface will make the process easier and help prevent the loss of small pieces.
- Remove Top Clips: Using a pry tool, carefully remove the 14 clips located around where the mesh meets the swivel base of your SNOO.
- Remove Top Screws: Gently unscrew the 3 screws located on either side of the swivel, then remove the metal base plate.
- Cut Existing Zip Ties: Very carefully cut the 3 zip ties holding down the 3 cables. Do this carefully, ensuring you don't cut any parts of any cables.
- Disconnect Cables: Very carefully disconnect the 3 cables.
- Unscrew Centre Screw: You should see a screw at the centre of the swivel. This will need to be pushed down and turned to the unlock position. This is only for 2019+ models. 2018 and 2017 models don't require this stage. Then, carefully remove the swivel while feeding the cable through the holes.
- Remove Existing O-rings: Carefully remove the old motor shaft O-rings using a pick or a hook to avoid damaging surrounding parts.
- nstall New O-Rings: As specified in the kit instructions, select the appropriate O-ring for each part. Ensure each O-ring fits snugly to prevent movement issues and double-check the placement to ensure optimal performance.

- Test the Bassinet:Once all parts are installed, test the bassinet by running it briefly. Listen for unusual sounds and check the motion to confirm everything functions smoothly. If needed, hold down one end of the swivel as it operates to centre the swivel so it doesn't hit one end of your SNOO.
